Once the Animated Lure has been fully submerged under the water for 1 second it will start swimming. Animated Lure automatically turns off when it is taken out of the water.

The Classic model can swim for 1 to 1.5 continuous hours, depending on water conditions.


The Mini model can swim for 45 mins to 1 hour, depending on water conditions.

Make sure the Animated Lure is completely dry before charging.

Make sure Animated Lure is charging in a safe environment and unplug the USB when Animated Lure is done charging.

Connect the red wire clip to the ring coming out on the top of the fish’s head, and connect the black wire clip to the ring coming out directly from the bottom of the head (not the ring used to connect to the fishing hook).

Once Animated Lure has started charging, a blue light will turn on in its head. This indicates that charging has begun. The blue light will turn off once Animated Lure is fully charged.

The positive (red) and the negative (black) alligator clips should never come in contact with one another when the USB is plugged in to an adapter or a device.

It depends which model you've got:

The Salt Water model may take anywhere from 1 to 1.5 hour per full charge cycle, the speed will depend on the adapter that is used.

The Classic model may take anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour per full charge cycle, the speed will depend on the adapter that is used.

The Mini Model may take anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes per full charge cycle, the speed will depend on the adapter that is used.

We always recommend charging in a safe area and using power protectors.



The Salt Water model is 8.8 inches (22.35 cm) and weighs 5.2 ounces (147.42 grams).

The Classic model is 5.25 inches (13.34 cm) and weighs 1.7 ounces (48.19 grams).

The Mini model is 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) and weighs 0.25 ounces (7 grams).


The Salt Water model hinge strength is up to 100 pounds (45 kg) max.

The Classic model hinge strength is up to 45 pounds (20 kg) max.

The Mini model hinge strenght is up to 33 pounds (15kg) max.

Always dry Animated Lure when you have finished using it and keep stored in climate controlled setting.

Please always check for any worn parts, loose connections, or cracks in the structure. The propeller and the hinges should be able to rotate and move freely.

We have tested and recommend that the Salt Water model go no deeper than 25 meters (82 feet) deep.


We have tested and recommend that the Classic model go no deeper than 10 meters (32 feet) deep.

We have tested and recommend that the Mini model go no deeper than 3 meters (9 feet and 10 inches) deep.

Always dry Animated Lure completely before charging.

Make sure that Animated Lure is charging in a safe environment and unplug the USB when Animated Lure is done charging.

Bring the magnetic clip near the port on the Salt Water model and have it click securely in place.

Once Animated Lure has started charging, a blue light will turn on in its head. This indicates that charging has begun. The blue light will turn off once Animated Lure is fully charged.
